Here we are in November already! In less than two months, we start 2024! Again 2023 has brought many challenges for most of us, albeit with ALL COVID travel restrictions being lifted. I pray you are doing well through this time. Our Heavenly Father is faithful.
In past years, many of you joined life-changing short-term mission teams through Children of Hope and we are thankful that travel to Mexico in 2023 has increased to the Pan de Vida, Esperanza para Ti and Ancla de Amor children’s homes. However, this is still at lower levels than in 2019. Teams raise financial support for projects and use these funds to serve with their hands, accomplishing many great things in the time they are at the ministry. The three soup kitchens and the Casas Ammi children’s home struggle in raising funds since they do not have the facilities to host teams like the other ministries.
With this in mind, we ask that you consider donating to the “Above and Beyond” fundraising campaign. These funds will help our 7 ministries cover their general monthly expenses for 2024, fund pressing projects, and cover the costs of other physical needs the children may have. If God puts it on your heart to help the children, please do! Some of our ministries are really struggling with many needs, so we are thankful for every dollar we can give them. For the last two years, the response has been overwhelming, and we thank each of you for that.
